2022 Teacher Grant Winners

The Kingsville Independent School District Education Foundation (KISDEF) has announced the winners of the Teacher Innovative Grants program for the 2021-2022 school year. The grants provide funding for creative and innovative projects that enhance the educational experience for KISD students. The recipients of this year’s grants are Mrs. Evelyn Wright from Jesus Perez Elementary for her “Learning Science through Literature” project, Mr. Raul Ramos from Jesus Perez Elementary for “Future Musicians in Motion,” and Ms. A. Amaya from H.M. King High Early College High School for “Pan American Student Forum of Texas”. The grants will fund various projects, including purchasing sets of science-based literature, a standing riser and rhythm sets for the music program, and travel expenses for a youth forum. KISDEF congratulates the winners and will award a total of $2,670.14 in funds to support these exciting initiatives. The Foundation plans to arrange an award and photo opportunity for the recipients at their respective campuses in order to ensure everyone’s safety.
